Brendan Rodgers says that he feels ‘philosophical’ about Celtic’s transfer company after a slow transfer window so far.
Celtic has made a winning start of their title defense in the Scottish Premiership and defeated both St. Mirren and Aberdeen without giving a goal.
They did this without major changes to their team, with Kieran Tierney and Ross Doohan brought in, although both players were free agents.
Celtic has a play-off from the Champions League-Off, with the first stage against Kazakhstan-side Kairat on August 20 and will start their Scottish League Cup title defense against Falkirk on Friday.
Asked if he would have a reinforced team for the first, Rodgers admitted that he was not sure about possible transfers, but said he was not worried about the lack of things so far.

“Hopefully that can be the case. I don’t want to live too much with it; it has been constant. We hope we can improve it, and hopefully we will do that.
“I am philosophical about it. The club has always done notorious business towards the end of the window. All managers and coaches want players to come in as quickly as possible. You want to be prepared as you can be possible.
“What went unnoticed is that we really made a good start. Two really good victories, played well and I know we’ll get better.
“I can’t hit the versions about the two games to get the results. Sometimes that is clouded by negativity about transfers.”
There has also been talk of Celtic’s potential editions, with rumors about the future of Daizzen Maeda.
The Japanese International scored 16 goals last season, the second highest total in the competition, while he also registered a competition-high 10 assists.
He still has to score in 2025-26, but has already created one assist of four chances.
Rodgers expects Celtic Maeda to hold, which alienates that he is also talking about a new deal, even though he has two years on his current contract.
