The stage is set for the Rizin Fighting Federation’s traditional year-end extravaganza.All five title fights for the New Year’s Eve event will be official after weigh-ins on Tuesday. Rizin “Shiwasu No Cho Tsuwamono Matusi” takes place Wednesday at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitaima, Japan, and is headlined by a featherweight title match between Rajabali Shaidullaev (145.3 pounds) and Mikuru Asakura (145.5 pounds). Shaidullaev is undefeated in 15 professional appearances, including five under the Rizin banner. The 25-year-old Kyrgyz native last appeared at Rizin 58 on September 28, when he knocked out Viktor Kolesnik via technical knockout in 33 seconds in the first stanza. Shaidullaev has achieved all his victories within the distance.
Asakura has compiled a 13-4 record with Rizin since 2018. His 2025 campaign included a doctor stoppage victory over Chihiro Suzuki at Rizin “Otoko Matsuri” in May and a split-decision victory against Kleber Koike Erbst at Super Rizin 4 in July.
