Rizin Fighting Federation returned to action on Sunday with the massive Rizin 51 card in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Two title fights, the heavyweight World Grand Prix-final, and the second round of the Flyweight Grand Prix made Rizin 51 Must-see TV for Vecht fans (and if we are honest, enormously superior on paper for UFC Perth, which preceded it).
In the main event, lightweight champion Roberto Satoshi Souza looked to defend his title against Yoshinori Horie, a one-and-do-do-UFC aluin that had found renewed success in recent years. With regard to the Co-Main event, Razhabali Shaydullaev wanted to defend his featherweight title for the first time, opposite Viktor Kolesnik.
