Reliance Industries will fully operational its new energy company in the next four to six quarters, including production and starting the generation on the clock and the green chemicals.

“New energy is effectively our next growth engine for dependence,” said Karan Suri, senior vice president, New Energy during the company’s analyst presentation. The new energy platform itself is funded by its profitability and income and “it will produce eternal growth for dependence and our shareholders,” he added.

The company has already started making HJT -Zonne -Modules, “one of the largest in the size of the utility scale, one of the most efficient and we don’t stop there, we continue to continue technology, innovating, increasing efficiency, reducing costs,” he said.

It is also the setting up of production for electrolysers, with the help of alkaline technology.

On the progress of the new energy projects, including the production of green hydrogen, RIL has started commissioning and completing some of its factories and the rest of the production is in full swing.

“With our energy generation projects we started implementation, we mobilize the resources on the site. And our plan is to install the modules directly in time directly from the delivery of Jamnagar to the foundation on our generation sites,” Suri said.

The plan is to install around 50 megawatt modules every day, 175 megawatt hour batteries on a fully operational scale every day. For this it is a special prisoner transmission from Kutch to Jamnagar set up to bring the energy to his Jamnagar requirements and the growth sector it does in Jamnagar.

The company is also on a goal to reach 55 compressed biogas plants by the end of this year, it said.

Main reasons

“One of the most important reasons for us to get new energy is of course to offer energy breaches at affordable costs for the prisoner requirements of our entire group, which grow while we speak and, as you have seen in various business presentations, as well as for the requirements of third parties for the growing energy requirements of India to maintain economic growth,” he said.

RIL has also started receiving investors proposals to participate in these projects.

“And as soon as we have operationalized this new energy ecosystem, we will of course pursue some of these win-win partnerships where we will invite and get investments from some of the partners who are also committed to the off-take, especially when it comes to green chemicals.”
