The renowned MMA coach Firas Zahabi is convinced that Khamzat Chimaev is the largest middleweight of all time.
‘Borz’ has compiled one of the most dominant performances in the title combat history at UFC 319, in which more than 21 minutes of control time was recorded against former title holder Dricus du Plessis.
The fight itself left many fans frustrated about the lack of action, but for Zahabi it was a performance of a goat.
“Khamzat is the largest middleweight ever,” said Zahabi via the Tristar Gym YouTube -channel. “I could place him against everyone in the middleweight division, and I would choose Khamzat every day. Adesanaya, DDP, Anderson Silva in his Prime, forget it.
Not everyone appreciated Khamzat Chimaev’s Grip Display on UFC 319
Of course, not everyone was as excited as Zahabi with regard to Chimaev’s wrestling-heavy attack in Chicago.
One-time UFC title finer Paulo Costa, who was very open in recent months about his aversion to Chimaev, has absolutely fragmented the performance of the Chechen.
“This is a show. This is entertainment,” Costa told Ariel Helwani. “This kind of fighting, and hunter, has a lot of potential to kill this company.
“This surprised me afterwards, because during the press conference after the fight, Dana (White) (said) was:” Ok, he did great. ” No, he didn’t do it, man.

Whether you appreciated the dominance or bored by heart, it is not to be denied that Chimaev seems to have a stranglehold about the middleweight division, and it can take years before someone crackles the code, or never.
