“The price hike will vary across models and variants and has been necessitated by rising input costs and prevailing macroeconomic factors,” Renault India said in a statement.Despite the review, the company remains steadfast in its commitment to providing high-quality products and services while ensuring a compelling value proposition for customers, it added.

Mercedes-Benz India plans a quarterly price hike through 2026
Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz India is considering increasing the prices of its products every quarter in the next calendar year to offset the negative impact of the rupee’s depreciation against the euro, managing director and CEO Santosh Iyer told PTI. The company had already announced plans to increase the prices of its products by up to 2 percent from January 1, 2026.
The price adjustment reflects ongoing exchange rate challenges as the euro-rupee exchange rate remains consistently above Rs 100 in 2025, significantly higher than historical averages, Mercedez-Benz said.
“We are considering a price hike every quarter next year, and that is due to the devaluation of the rupee to the euro,” Iyer earlier told PTI on the sidelines of the FICCI Mercedes-Benz Bharat Innovation business ideas, which is challenging the launch of the programme.
Although the luxury car maker had already announced price increases from January, the CEO said there will be subsequent increases “to accommodate the massive depreciation”.
