The SOX signed a deal of $ 21.05 million in the low season. That was a bet on a bounce back.

Another club could sign him and would only have to pay him the deducted part of the Major League minimum salary, whereby that amount was deducted from what the SOX pays. For a warring club, a rotation hole must patch, they can be tempted to view Buehler for free and hope to beat gold.
For the SOX they go into a considerable position in the piece. They have a record of 75-60. They are only 3.5 games back from the Blue Jays in the American League East. They have the best Wildcard place and are 5.5 games for the royals, the best non-Playoff team in the already many useful games left, they have decided that Buehler is not one of their horses. The last few weeks of the season they enter with Garrett Crochet as their clear bait, supported by Lucas Giolito, Brayan Bello and Dustin May. They give Tolle a chance to take a place and also have Kyle Harrison in Triple-A, if necessary.
