The 2026 Actor Awards, formerly known as The Screen Actors Guild Awards, will be presented Sunday evening in Los Angeles and coverage will kick off with a red carpet ceremony on streaming.
Officially known as The Actor Awards Presented by SAG-AFTRA, the name change of the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony took place in November 2025. However, SAG-AFTRA isn’t forgetting the previous ceremonies, so Sunday’s event will be called the 32nd Annual Actor Awards.
The Actor Awards ceremony in 2026, organized by Nobody wants this star Kristen Bell, begins streaming exclusively on Netflix at 8pm ET/5pm PT. For that, the streaming platform is hosting a live red carpet pre-show called The actor’s red carpet starting at 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM ET.
The actor’s red carpet is hosted by Paige DeSorbo and Scott Evans. According to Netflix Tumdu“The pre-show will feature interviews with nominees and presenters, highlighting the evening’s standout fashion and giving viewers a front-row view of the red carpet on the biggest night for actors.”
The pre-show will also reveal the winners of The Actor Awards’ Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture and Television Series.
Next to Netflix The actor’s red carpet preshow, cable’s E! broadcasts the two-hour special, E! Live from the red carpet: Actor Awards 2026starting Sunday at 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT. The special is hosted by Justin Sylvester, Keltie Knight and Erin Lim Rhodes.
The E! Live from the red carpet: Actor Awards 2026 special is also streaming on Peacock Premium Plus.

The Actor Awards 2026 red carpet will also have a code, thanks to a new partnership between The Actor Awards and Elle.
The dress code theme for the 2026 Actor Awards has been set by Elle is mentioned A new look at Hollywood glamor from the 20s and 30swhich, according to the fashion publication, is “inspired by an era defined by cinematic elegance and bold expression.”
“The dress code aligns with the overall creative vision of this year’s show and invites visitors to revisit classic ideas of glamour, reimagined for a modern red carpet,” Elle reported. “Expect sensual dresses, dramatic silhouettes and fluid, groundbreaking designs, all inspired by the timeless Art Deco spirit that defined early Hollywood.”
