Educational qualification

  • Assistant Manager (Management): 2 years full-time MBA/MMS or post-graduate diploma/diploma in business management, shipping, logistics, supply chain management, international trade or finance.
  • Assistant Manager (Finance): Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA).
  • Assistant Manager (HR/Personnel): 2 years full-time MBA/MMS or post-graduate diploma/diploma with specialization in personnel management, HRD, HRM, industrial relationships or labor welfare.
  • Assistant Manager (Law): Full -time degree in rights (3 years or 5 years).
  • Assistant Manager (Engineering): 4 years full-time bachelor’s degree in civil, electric, mechanical, information technology, fire brigade and safety or naval architecture.
  • Assistant Manager (Business Secretary): Qualified business secretary (CS) from ICSI.
  • Executive (Finance): 3 years full -time BBA/BMS/Bachelor’s degree with specialization in finance and/or accounts.
  • Executive (HR/staff): 3 years full -time BBA/BMS with specialization in personnel management, HRD, HRM or related fields.
  • Executive (mass communication): 3 years full -time BBA/BMS/Bachelor’s degree in mass communication.
  • Executive (Hindi): Master’s degree in Hindi with English as the subject at degree level, or vice versa. (Consult the official notification for detailed options).

Remark: At least 60% figures is required in the qualification rate (relaxable with 5% for SC/ST/PWBD candidates).

Experience

  • Assistant Manager (E2): A minimum of one year of experience in a related field is desirable.
  • Executive (E0): A minimum of a year of experience after qualifying is in a related field obliged.

  • The maximum age for both messages is 27 years From August 1, 2025.

SCI Assistant Manager Salary and Benefits

A job at SCI comes with a very attractive salary package, making it one of the well -paid jobs in the government. The salary structure is based on a wage scale system. For the Assistant Manager (E2) Mail, the wage scale is £ 50,000 – £ 1.60,000. This means that your first basic wage will be £ 50,000. For the Executive (E0) Mail, the wage scale is £ 30,000 – £ 1.20,000With a first basic wage of £ 30,000.

But that’s not all! In addition to your basic wage you will receive various reimbursements that considerably increase your total monthly income. These include:

Sci Assistant -Manager Selection process:

The selection process is designed to be extensive and honest, consisting of three main phases. Insight into every phase helps you to prepare better.

Phase 1: Online exam (computer -based test)

This is the first and most critical stage. The exam pattern is different for each message.

  • For Assistant Manager (E2):
    • Subject: Core domain/professional knowledge (50 points), quantitative construction (10), logic and reasoning (10), General Consciousness and current affairs (10), English language (10) and computer knowledge (10). A psychometric test (20 questions) will also be included.
    • Total number of questions: 120
    • Maximum figures: 100
    • Duration: 120 minutes (compound time)
    • Negative marking: Yes, 0.25 points are deducted for every wrong answer in the core and competence sections.
  • For Executive (E0):
    • Subject: General English (20 points), general knowledge (20), quantitative construction (20), logical reasoning (20) and computer knowledge (20). A psychometric test (20 questions) is also part of the exam.
    • Total number of questions: 120
    • Maximum figures: 100
    • Duration: 120 minutes (compound time)
    • Negative marking: Yes, 0.25 points for each wrong answer in the competence test.

Phase 2: Group Discussion (GD)

Candidates who delete the online exam will be called up for a group discussion in a ratio of 1: 6 (6 candidates for every 1 vacancy). This is an elimination round. You must score at least 60% in the GD to be eligible for the next phase. Your communication skills, knowledge and ability to work in a team are tested here.

Phase 3: Personal interview (PI)

This is the final phase. Candidates who free up the GD will receive a personal interview. This is also an elimination round where you have to score at least 70%. The final merit list will be drawn up on the basis of the combined scores of the online exam, GD and personal interview with a weight of 70:10:20 respectively.
