Rebel Wilson has revealed that she was entangled in a ‘freak accident’ on the set of her new film Bride Hard who almost left her face ‘permanent mutilated’.
The 45-year-old actress explained that she was beaten in a dramatic fighting scene in the nose on the last day of shooting, leaving a ‘puddle’ behind.
Fortunately, Rebel was quickly sent to see a plastic surgeon who saved her.
“A gun was accidentally hit my face,” Rebel shared in a recent interview. ‘It was just a freak accident and my nose was split open, so I left.
“It was strange my last night of shooting. I had something like: “How bad luck can I be?” ‘

Directed by Simon West and written by Shaina Steinberg, follows the film Sam (Wilson) while she serves as the bridesmaid on the lush wedding of her youth, which is hostage by mercenaries.

“There is so much comedy in this, but there is also so much action,” Rebel told Savannah Guthrie during a appearance on the today show of the film, set for release on June 20.
