RCL -UPDATE: The week that, week 24, 2025

There are only three weeks left in our fantasyball season. The raid commentator competitions are in sprint mode while everyone tries to complete their limit in the innings. We now have 13 teams that have postponed to the maximum, and it seems that there are 39 teams on pace to miss the 1000 minimum. These are usually abandoned teams, I think, but if not, let those streamers stream! We are very close to having a new general HR record this year. Vin has kept the search from Jamscandal for RCL Glory. Jamscandal hurled 15 bombs this week and now needs 50 to break the record. We have a few things to watch next to our race to the finish in the Master classification. I hope for another update next week, so that we can check in the race with two weeks to go. Should be a nice finish!

‘PERTY’ Perts

Every week we peek at our residents to see who claims to the best “expert” Rler in the country. We take notes, check the rankings and generally steal them. The head is also hyperlink, so feel free to follow while we go.

There is a reason why I renamed the Son team this season as Dad. Not only did he lead us to school last season, but the man has zero chill. He is beyond Batty calls in his grass-stained new balance sneakers with the best of them. All those telatistics have been added and Son has taken over the lead of the Perts League with three weeks to go. Talk about peak at the right time. Son picked up 2.5 points this week and is now two points ahead of Kirksey and 6.5 for Mike C. I want to be as a dad when I grow up.

Razzslam -classification update

Every week we will also take a look at the top ten general classification in our other Razzball sponsored competition, the razzslam. This is our NFBC Best Ball League with managers from the entire industry, from content providers to fans and readers, just like you.

Matt Poole stays on top of the rankings on his way to the last week with Robert Goldman Hot on his heels. Sean Knurek had a great week to give him a boost until the third in general, and Chris Oliver holds the Wild Card place. Good luck for everyone in the last week of the game!

Weekly leaders

The best of the best of the week was.

R – 62 – Rloyod (RCL 35)

HR –22 – Rloyod (RCL 35)

RBIS – 66 – Rloyod (RCL 35)

SB – 16 – Quietjon (RCL 4)

AVG – .343 – Agthog7 (RCL 15)

K – 97 – Under the planet of the vegans (DFSers anonymous)

W – 8 – Creative Chaos (Notlz)

SV – 11 – Mr Big & Bud Goode (RCL 35)

ERA (min. 40 IP) – 1.47 – Ripgrimey (Dfsers anonymous) (in 43 IP)

Whip (min. 40 IP) – 0.761 – ThePMH (RCL 11) (in 44.2 IP)

RCL 35 had a week! Rloyod in particular almost had a clean sweep from the battle categories, impressive things! No new records this week, but expect that the Strikeout record will see in the coming weeks (currently at 125).

Some more statistics of the week, thanks to Vinwins:

22 teams had an ERA under 2.00. 81 were above 6 !! [Srbanator (RCL 25) had a 12.55 ERA in 33 IP, Grey (Perts) had 7.83 / 1.741 in 64.1 IP.]

9 teams broke under .200 (3 last week)

43 teams are more than .300. (31 last week)

88.4% of the schedule is completed. 884 IP would be in pace for the 1000 IP minimum. 1238 IP is on pace for the maximum 1400 IP.

Team of the week

Our weekly shout at the team that killed it last week.

Team: MR Big & Bud Goode

Competition: RCL 35

Statistics: AVG: .279, R: 51, HR: 21, RBI: 64, SB: 10

IP: 54.1, ERA: 4.80, Whip: 1,215, K: 58, W: 3, SV: 11

Summary: It is all over again Déjà Vu because we have a back-to-back tow winner. This week’s relationships were not the most beautiful, but all top teams had some warts and Mr. Big really stood out differently everywhere. We still have a peak at the perfect time because they achieved six more points, but stayed in the 4th in RCL 35, only one point from third place. Juan Soto continued to accelerate the attack and hit .435 with three home runs and nine runs that were struck. He also stole three bases. Junior Caminero hit .379 with two gayers and also drove in nine. Trevor Story (.391 with a home run and three Steals) and Ivan Herrera (three home runs) were important contributors. Tarik Skubal won another one with seven scoreless innings and threw six stroke. Zac Gallen and David Peterson also had victories. George Kirby was the most important culprit in that high era and allowed seven points in two innings. Jose Ferrer led the Relief Corps with three saves without giving up a point. Cad Smith earned two saves and had six strikeouts. Shawn Armstrong, Jojo Romero and Edwin Diaz each added two saves without allowing a run. I don’t think the late urge will be enough to catch longball players in RCL 35, but it’s a lot for Mr. Big. Good job!
