Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women extended their winning run to four matches in the WPL 2026 with a thumping eight-wicket win over Delhi Capitals Women at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. RCB chased down the 167-run target with ease and finished the match with 10 balls to spare.
After winning the toss, Delhi Capitals opted to bat but their innings got off to a nightmare start. They lost four wickets for just 10 runs inside the first two overs, putting immediate pressure on the middle order and putting the side in early trouble.
Despite the collapse, Shafali Verma fought back with a courageous punch. She scored 62 runs off 41 balls and showed determination and composure as the wickets continued to fall at the other end.
Towards the finish, debutant Lucy Hamilton added valuable runs with a quick 36 from 19 balls. Her late cameo helped Delhi Capitals reach a fighting total of 166 all out after looking like much less.
RCB’s bowling attack kept things tight throughout. Lauren Bell and Sayali Satghare were the favorite among the bowlers, taking three wickets each and never allowing DC to build big partnerships.
In reply, RCB captain Smriti Mandhana produced one of the finest knocks of the season. She hit 96 runs off 61 balls and just missed out on becoming the first centurion in WPL history.
Mandhana found perfect support in Georgia Voll, who remained unbeaten with 54 off 42 balls. The pair added a whopping 142 runs for the second wicket, taking the match completely away from Delhi Capitals.
RCB crossed the line comfortably and underlined their strong form in the Navi Mumbai leg. With this win, Royal Challengers Bengaluru remain at the top of the points table, while Delhi Capitals are at the bottom after their third defeat in four matches.
