A woman accused of putting razor blades in loaves of bread at two Walmart stores in Biloxi, Mississippi, was arrested Tuesday, police said.Camille Benson, 33, of Texas, was charged with attempted mayhem, with bail set at $100,000.Lt. Candace Young, a public information officer with the Biloxi Police Department, said customers reported finding razor blades in bread they purchased at a Walmart Supercenter and a Walmart Neighborhood Market.The first report came on December 5, when a customer told Walmart employees that they had found a razor blade in a loaf of bread they had purchased at the Walmart Supercenter. A second report came on December 8 after a customer buying bread at the Walmart Neighborhood Market reported finding a razor blade.After another customer complained Sunday, employees inspected the bread on the shelves and discovered several more loaves that appeared to have been tampered with. Biloxi police were notified Monday.In a news release, police urged anyone who purchased bread at the two Biloxi Walmart locations to inspect their purchases and report any findings.“The health and safety of our customers is always our top priority,” Walmart said in a statement. “We have removed and thoroughly inspected all potentially affected products at the affected stores in Biloxi. We appreciate law enforcement for their quick action and will continue to cooperate with them as they investigate.”Police said they do not believe other stores were targeted.Walmart advised customers who believe they have purchased a tampered product to immediately throw it away and visit their local store for a full refund.
