Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Princess Astrid of Belgium on Tuesday and said that he is looking forward to “unlimited unlimited opportunities” for the people of the two countries through new partnerships in trade, technology, defense and agriculture.
Astrid is in India who leads an economic mission aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
“Pleasant to meet HRH princess Astrid from Belgium. Appreciate its initiative to lead a 300-person economic mission to India,” said Premier Modi on X.

The general process of India-Belgium tires has witnessed a steady expansion in recent years. The focus of relationships is traditional on trade and investments.
India is the 14th largest export destination in Belgium and the 16th largest importer in Belgium.
India is the seventh largest export destination in Belgium outside the EU and the sixth largest trading partner outside the EU.
