A huge plot of Klemzig-Land that has been untouched for years will be converted into homes after the eye-watery sale of $ 6.6 million.

A residential developer has collected the 4770m² building with four titles – two on 212a and 214 North East RD and another two out of 5 and 7 Swan Ave.

They beat 17 other potential buyers – mostly commercial and residential developers – who have made an offer for it.

The clamping country package on 214 North East RD sold in a deal of $ 6.6 million.

It comprises 4770m² over four titles and is approximately 7 km from the city.

Sales agent Bradley Foster, director of Thuis Real Estate, said that the prime position made it a rare and desirable property at about 7 km from the city and the size.

“It was a combination of location and the size of land ownership,” he said.

“I probably spoke with 140 to 150 people in the four -week campaign that I have performed.

“We ended up with 18 formal offers, which is great, and in total we received eight offers more than $ 6 million.

“It’s a great result for the family.”

Mr. Foster said that the property was already more than the sale of the same family ownership of the same family.

It had horses there – although not for a few years now – as well as a house, but burned it down, said Mr. Foster.

It was early days with approval from the council that still had to be asked, but Mr. Foster said that mansions would probably be built on the package.

It has been untouched for years, but was last used for horses.

He said that the site, which was in a neighborhood zone under Port Adelaide Enfield Council, could fit around 20 houses on it.

Although it was a rare offer, Mr Foster said that country was generally a hot commodity, with many who want to pay a premium price to get it.

“If it is developable land, the hunger for it is huge,” he said.
