The Toronto Raptors have their sentences this season in a play -off place in the Eastern Conference and are expected to be buyers on the trade market with RJ Barrett, a possible candidate to be moved. Toronto recently elevated Bobby Webster to the role of the main decision maker after saying goodbye to Masai Ujiri’s ways.
This outside the season discussed the Raptors transactions for Kevin Durant, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White, who followed on their February takeover of Brandon Ingram.
“This group under head coach Darko [Rajakovic] Expect to be a player in the play-off conversation here in the Eastern Conference, “reports Jake Fischer.” They don’t just want to be a play-in team. They want to be a team that really drives to the late season for the first time.
“So, what does Bobby Webster now have in the store with this complete approval as head of basketball operations to keep upgrading this schedule? We will see. But I have the raptors that have already reserved this year. It’s super early – it is already August 20 – but when we are closer to the February -trading Deadline, I have the schedule that is already armed.”
Barrett has signed two more seasons about his four -year contract extension with the New York Knicks during the 2022 out of season.
