The 10th ATP -Singles by Alex de Minaur in Washington, DC sees him return to the top 10 in the world.

Men’s Singles

Alex de Minaur returns to the ATP top 10 after his open triumph in Washington. The 26-year-old claimed his 10th ATP singles title and only since S-Hertogenbosch in June 2024.

The most striking is that the Minaur has saved three championship points in the final against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina to overcome.

He increases five places to world no. 8, which is his highest ranking in 12 weeks.

Aleksandar Vukic also enjoys a ranking after he defeated Ace Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in Washington, DC the 29-year-old Klimt back in the top 100 and improves to World No.99.

John-Patrick Smith continues to close his career-high ranking after he has been implemented to the semi-final in Washington, DC The 36-year-old edges within six places of his best ranking world no. 52 Die will take place in September 2017.

Smith is in impressive hard court form and reaches the semi -final in four of his last five tournaments on the surface – Santiago, Indian Wells, Houston and Washington, DC

Elsewhere, the double form of Tristan Schoolkate has launched it back in the Australian Top 10 in the past two months.

The 24-year-old went on to ATP Challenger Quarterfinals in Birmingham and Ilkley, prior to Wimbledon, before being admitted to the Los Cabos final earlier this month.

Taylah Preston is the biggest mover in the Australian top 10 after her quarter -final berth in Figueira da Foz, Portugal. She improves nine places to World No. 175 after her efforts at the ITF W100 event.

Nine Australians stay in the WTA Top 200, with Ellen Perez who leads the leadership. Perez approaches the 12 -month Mark on top of the Australian women’s doubles ranking, a cloak that she has held since August 2024.
