Raja Jackson stands for a lot of warmth after delivering a viral beatdown to an unsuspecting pro wreststers.
A live streamed Knokx Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles led to a police investigation in the weekend after Jackson, the son of former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, slid into the ring and a series of bumps on the face of a wrestler.
The video, which quickly went viral on social media, lets Jackson enter the ring during a competition with Stuart Smith, better known under his artist name, Syko Stu. Jackson went straight up from the mat and struck him violently to the canvas and hit him unconscious. Jackson then released 23 full-force punches.
Chael Sonnen, who knows a few things about putting together the worlds of Pro Wrestling and mixed martial arts together, recently offered his view of the horrible fight between Jackson and Smith.
“There were a few boys, a referee, another wrestler, maybe the boys came in,” Sonen said through His YouTube channel. “We will never know, because at the moment it seems that Raja is marked for his own gimmick and really some pictures is starting to lay, but those photos are taken out of anger. And if you want to understand what happened here, you will not be able to get into the eyes or spirit of the DA or a potential jury member.
“You will not be able to do that if your emotion versus action does not understand. Right? The action is supposed to look as if he is hit him. The action should look as if he is turning it into an 180 and hits him in mind.
“So then, where you exceed the already faded line, on the right, which professional struggles are all the blurry line. Where you crossed, that is where Jackson actually gets angry. The rest of it, from a physical and an outer position, is what you should do. And sometimes some shots come through.
The attack by Raja Jackson came from the Backstage Ewitch earlier in the evening
It was later revealed that the attack came from a backstage incident in which Smith hit a beer can on the side of Jackson’s head, in the conviction that the hunter was a different professional wrestler.
After he was informed that Jackson was not an employee, Smith prompted himself promptly and the two shaking hands.
“As an audience, we are armed with what led us to this point, and there is another video that has surfaced where Syko Stu is in the back,” Sonnen went on. “They are literally outside. It’s a beautiful day. The wrestlers are there. They continue and what not to work out.
‘One of the other wrestlers is to inform Stu:’ Hey, this boy Raja – he is not an employee. “This means that he is not a professional wrestler.
LAPD confirmed to TMZ that officers responded to the event and took a police report. The case is now under active investigation, although the police have not noticed about whether charges are being filed.
According to a recent post from his brother on FacebookSmith is “in stable but critical care.”
“Thank you everyone for your prayers, worries and friendly words for my brother Stu,” he wrote. “Please keep him in your prayers.”
