The Raiders in Las Vegas have recently taken a shocking step and released the defensive Tackle Christian Wilkins for only one year in his massive four -year contract.
Wilkins was released with the designation of ended established veteran, and although he seemed to be ready to return after rehabilitation for the foot injury he sustained last season, the Raiders try to invalidate the remaining guaranteed money on his contract after he chose not to undergo a second operation.
The Raiders quickly moved to replace Wilkins and claimed defensive Tackle Keondre Coburn from the distance declarations of the Tennessee Titans.
“No surprise, he is a good player. Good chance for Coburn to get playing time in Vegas after they had released Christian Wilkins,” wrote Justin M of the design network on X.

Coburn was a sixth round pick in the NFL design of 2023 of the Chiefs of Kansas City and was expanded for Tennessee last season, appeared in 15 games and logged 14 combined tackles.
Listening to the way head coach Pete Carroll and the rest of the Raiders organization discussed Wilkins’ situation, suggested that they did not agree with how he dealt behind the scenes.
Leki Fotu and Adam Butler are expected to be the starters on defensive tackle with Wilkins out of the picture, and although Coburn is a nice addition, it is difficult to fully digest such a seismic movement at this time of the year.
Wilkins was one of the most dominant interior rulers in the NFL before last season, and replacing it will not be easy.
