Raheem Sterling posted an Instagram story of an isolated training session in Chelsea late on Monday evening.
The former Manchester City and Liverpool striker stays on the edge of Enzo Maresca’s team after the Italian made it clear that Sterling has no role in his plans this season.
Despite links to Bayern Munich, Napoli and Saudi Arabia, Sterling remained on Deadline Day, so he was stranded in Chelsea’s so-called “bomb team”.

On Monday evening at 8:21 PM Sterling uploaded an Instagram story with an empty Cobham -training pitch next to the word “course”A handshake emoji and a frozen face.
Another photo showed his boots and Chelsea equipment, which showed the isolated reality of his situation.
The 30-year-old has been training separately from the first team since the start of the preseason.
His wages and preference of £ 325,000 a week to stay in England (and ideally London) have the efforts of Chelsea complicated to find a new club.

Maresca has been established in his position with regard to Sterling and other scope, including Axel Disasi and David Datro Fofana.
Asked if there was a way back, the Chelsea manager Bot was: “Since we started the season, I have not seen one. They train at a different time, at a different pitch. I haven’t seen them since we started the season … with us? No.”
Sterling only left this at the training for months, unless Chelsea can agree an exit in January.

Bayern Munich is supposed to have asked for Sterling late in the window, during conversations about Nicolas Jackson.
Napoli also showed interest, while clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia sounded him. But Sterling reportedly rejected Saudi approaches, which would rather stay closer to home.
With Chelsea desperate to reduce their wage account, the Sterling contract remains one of the most urgent problems for the hierarchy of the club prior to the January transfer window.
Ultimately, one of the highest earners of the Premier League is only training in the cold, without a path back in the Chelsea team.
Unless an exit is negotiated in the winter window, the attacker can spend the rest of the season on the sidelines – a grim fall for a player ever considered one of England’s most reliable attacks.
