For now, just catching up on a few unpurchased inbound cards, as I like to document here. First up, the page of cards I randomly received from Johnny’s giveaway last month:
Lots of cards. Mike Trout is still a big PC guy for me, and the ’75 Kellogg’s are a regular need. I love the Clyde Drexler, and any baseball oddballs are appreciated too.
Thank you very much for your generosity, John!

I bet you can guess who sent me this pair. Yes, it was a microzapping from Japan. Great looking JA Happ atomic refractor from 2011 and the cat is cute too.
Thanks as always, Zippy!

I don’t always bother posting about my sporadic TCDB trades on the blog, but it’s been a quiet few weeks, so why not show off this quick return from user ILLRIMESAYA? Maybe I’m jumping ship because he still needs to update the transaction to received, and it would be crap if my ending gets lost in the mail and I have to send these cards back or something. But hey, fingers crossed, the Ginter X mini he asked for will arrive soon.
I’ve been really into refractor reprints lately. I’ve collected a bunch of them and damn near flooded my TCDB wishlist with them, hence the Hank Bauer. And I’m glad I scored the xfractor of Gavin Sheet’s first card as Padre, after throwing all his parallels on my wishlist. I don’t expect to do the same for each Gavin Sheets card with San Diego in the future, but that “very first Padres card from a Gavin” is kind of special, I guess. But I’ve been doing some other modern Rainbowing activities lately (post coming soon), and I prefer to keep my hobby as much as possible on the pre-Fanatics focus, because everything was better before and it’s only going to get worse, right?
Anyway, thanks for stopping by.
