Question/Discussion – Do you find some of the fruitful academic studies complicated?

Prolific is my favorite website as it is my biggest earner, but some of the studies are what I would expect from A level maths and I only got a D at school The one I particularly dislike are the instructions which are long-winded and look extremely complicated, and then I am given a series of comprehension questions that I have to answer correctly before continuing. 90% of the time I get screened out of this.

I had one today that really frustrated me. I had 80 repetitive questions about insurance quotes, so I had to enter a number 80 times. This was easy but boring. I eventually got to the end with a sigh of relief, only to find that for the next task there were some instructions, followed by three comprehension questions. I knew the answer to two of them because the instructions weren’t very long, but I couldn’t get the third one right. I actually read the instructions three times and answered the question wrong three times, so after all that time spent researching, I had no choice but to rule myself out.

I almost lose the will to live lol at that repetitive one where you have to click, for example M if the word is negative and Z if the word is positive and you have to do this a few hundred times. But I usually stick with it for the money.

My favorite studies are the shorter and easier ones. But I don’t mind the longer ones if they are easy.
