Quess Corp Q2 results: Turnover increases by 3%, workforce increases by 21,000

Business services provider Quess Corp on Wednesday reported its September second quarter (Q2FY26) results, with revenue rising 3% year-on-year to ₹3,832 crore with an EBIDTA margin of 2%, up 13 basis points year-on-year.

Group CEO Guruprasad Srinivasan said the company’s EBITDA was the highest ever at ₹77 crore, up 11% YoY and revenues were at ₹3,832 crore, up 3% YoY. Operating EBITDA margin improved to 2%, up 13 basis points year-on-year, he added.

The growth was mainly driven by the General Staffing segment, with a celebratory workforce expansion of 21,000, taking the total workforce to 4,83,115. The Professional Staffing business, largely led by IT staff in the GCC segment, continues to demonstrate strong year-on-year growth in revenue, EBITDA and operating EBITDA margin of 11%, 37% and 236 basis points respectively, the company said in a press release.

“We are experiencing the tailwinds of new GST reforms in the third quarter that will drive our growth trajectory over the next two quarters,” the statement said.

The General Staffing business added over 21,000 employees during the quarter, taking the total workforce to 4,70,000 employees. The company signed 72 new contracts in the second quarter. Staffing improved significantly to 47%, compared to 30% in the previous quarter.


The Professional Staffing segment maintained a healthy double-digit EBITDA margin of over 12%, delivering an EBITDA of ₹27 crore. A total of 30 new contracts were signed in the first half of the year, of which 18 in the second quarter. Global Capability Centers (GCCs) continued to drive growth, representing 73% of the workforce and contributing 77% of gross margin. The overseas operations reported a 16% year-on-year increase in headcount to 5,730. The Middle East remained the main growth driver, delivering the highest EBITDA margin of 12.8% and leading the workforce with 2,100 employees. The company’s digital platform, Hamara Jobs, continued its strong growth trajectory, with the number of profiles increasing to over 12.6 million, up from 7.8 million in the previous quarter.

Quess is expected to maintain steady growth over the next two quarters, supported by rising workforce demand in manufacturing, retail and logistics, following the recent GST reforms.
