Four productions from the same studio in one evening, one of which soars to the top.

ITV Studios Australia showed the dominated schedule last night with no fewer than 4 different titles: MKR, The Chase, Love Island Australia, And Talking about your Gen…including two competing against each other.

Of course, that’s not always ideal if it means one show kills the other in the long run…

My kitchen rules topped entertainment with 1.06 million viewers in the national TV audience, beating 7:30 am (824,000), The golden bachelor (612,000), I was actually there (551,000) and Talking about your Gen (294,000).

Later Murder in a small town was then 432,000 The cheap seats (404,000), Love Island (381,000) and Endgame with Tony Armstrong (305,000).

Seven news was #1 at 1.33m with Home and away high at 925,000 then The hunt (623,000).

Nine news drew 1.32m with wins for A current issue (1.03m) and Tipping point (778,000).

ABC News then scored 950,000 for ABC Difficult quiz (345,000), The art of (138,000) and The Meeting (82,000).

10 News was then 290,000 to 10 Deal or no deal (243,000), FBI: Most Wanted (200,000) and 10 News+ (121,000).

That was the case on SBS SBS World News (215,000 / 163,000), Great British Railway Journeys (147,000), Tell me what you really think (119,000), Brain (98,000) and The hospital: in the deep (68,000).

For the record, there were also two titles from Smashing Films and Endemol Shine Aus last night, for those counting.
