Each year, all 30 MLB teams have a special “Photo Day” where players and coaches pose for team and media photographers. These photos are used in a variety of ways (you’ve probably seen them on Purple Row in the past) and it’s always fun to see the creative approaches the photographers take.
If you think this kind of work is easy, think again!
The players had to report to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick early Wednesday morning to begin recording at 6:45 am. As a result, some poses turn out to be crazy, fun, or otherwise remarkable, and I’ve picked a few to share with you.
If a player doesn’t appear here, that means their poses were… pretty ordinary.
