Proteas Women World Cup Squad 2025 – Cricket Fanatics Magazine

Cricket South Africa (CSA) is pleased to name the Proteas Women Squad that will represent our proud nation at the upcoming ICC Wereldworlt World Cup 2025, which takes place from September 30 – November 2 in India.

The team of 15 players will be leader by Laura Wolvaarardt and includes the experienced quartet of Chloé Tryon, Marizanne Kapp, Ayabonga Khaka and Suné Luus.

The Proteas women get their tournament going with a draw against England on 3 October, followed by encounters against Nieuw -Zeeland, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan before he concludes the competition phase with a match against Australia on October 25.

In anticipation of the global showpiece, South Africa will travel on Pakistan on 16, 19 and 22 September in Lahore on 16, 19 and 22 September on Pakistan.

CSA Convenor of Selectors, Clinton du Preez, said: “The composition of the team is supported by the consistent selection process that was complied with during the recent ICC Women’s Championship Cycle, while taking into account the subcontinent circumstances and the different characteristics of the group that is needed for a successful tournament of this nature.”
