In a funny way, I’m kind of glad he didn’t win, and I know that may sound harsh, but imagine if Jake Paul, five years in the sport, actually probably three years in the sport when it comes to fighting top competition who are fighters, were to beat Anthony Joshua.
“What would be the motivation to keep getting better? To double your training, to train even harder. Jake always says the best lessons or the best wins come from your losses, and I believe that’s what happened with Tommy Fury, and I 100 percent believe that’s what happened here.”
The fight would likely be a good learning experience for Paul, and Bidarian believes that.
