Here is a surprise. The Bufori CS8 production appeared yesterday morning at an Affin Bank Track Day event for its Private Banking customers dialing.
The High-Net-Waard Persons received an introduction to the manufacturer of handmade cars based in Kepong, before they were taken on taxi rides on a wet international sepang circuit by some of the best drivers in Malaysia. On the track were the CS prototypes that we detailed in 2019, and the Limousine van Geneva, certainly one of the most unlikely cars ever to have sustained SIC.
But we crashed the Rich Man Party to view the production CS8, which was treated in a camouflage design that is reminiscent of the A90 Supra’s. If you have seen the prototype before, it is immediately clear that the production CS8 is longer and Bufori confirms that the wheelbase has been extended by 350 mm. Together with longer overhanging backwards, the CS8 looks better proportioned, and the extra length also greatly benefits the cabin space.

The larger body (made from Bufori’s characteristic carbon-keevlar hybrid composite) was always in the company’s plans. As we reported in 2019, the extra length and more luxurious attributes are part of a switch from the origin of the prototype of the prototype to a ‘Grand Touring’ letter – we heard them call ‘Ultra High Performance GT’ during the event. Think of Aston Martin.
Just like those tight coupes from Gaydon, the Bufori CS8 has a large engine far back under the long hood. The ‘8’ in the name stands for the number of cylinders of the 6.4 liter supercharged V8-Motor-based on the Hemi, this blueprint specially built engine with forged internals postpones a claimed 810 hp (750 at the wheels) and 973 Nm torque at 4,800 rpm. You hear a lot of the rumbling V8 from Quad -outdoor points.
Closed to a torque converter with eight gears automatic gearbox that sends Drive to the rear wheels via a differential with limited slip, the 0-100 km/h sprint is flattened in 3.0 seconds (launch control available), while the top speed is limited to 330 km/h. These striking figures that exceed the original goals (3.5 seconds, 320 km/h) may be helped by an estimated curb weight of 1,550 kg, which weighs about a regular Porsche 911. There is a built -in data log for you to keep counting.

A car that is so fast needs a serious power power, and the brakes are closed and ventilated floating rotors that measure 380 mm in the front and 350 mm on the back, held by six-piston calipers in front and four-piston units at the back, by Brembo. The tires on this camouflaged Mulezel are Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R Semi-Slicks that pack 19-inch forces.
Equipment comprises automatic LED headlights/DRLs/fog lamps, LED tail lights, auto-windows wipers, key-free input and external start, electrochrome reversing mirror, driven steering adjustment, dual-zone AC/heating, electronic parking brake and 13.6-in-lighting, Motestling, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting, lighting lighting lighting, and lighting lighting lighting lighting lighting lighting lighting lighting lighting lighting, 13.6-in-light And kit sound.
The seats you see here are eight-way adjustable Recaros with Vierweg Lumbale, which are considerably more comfortable than the Sabelt CF-Shell racing seats in the CS Prototype-Nog a kink in the luxury GT direction.

There are also some functions for auxiliary and convenience functions, on top of basic safety items such as airbags and ESC. CS8 buyers receive adaptive cruise control, front and rear park assistant, 360-degree parking camera, blind spot monitoring, lane expenses/assistant and tire pressure monitoring. Speaking of this, the CS8 gets a tire repair kit and a nice snap-on-tools kit in the 252-liter boot.
When it comes to trim, your options are unlimited. It is like adjusting a Bentley, but with the guidance of the company owner Gerry Khourri and the possibility to come to the factory to check your masterpiece.
Those whose needs go beyond what mass markers can offer, often look Bufori to offer a customized touch to their other normal cars. Fittings for almost everything can be designed and manufactured here, whether it concerns Alphards or aircraft, and we also expect infinite possibilities for the CS8. Owners receive a scale model of their actual CS8, which is a nice touch.

Speaking about options, if you find the 6.4L -Supercharged V8 ‘a bit much’, you may have the same engine in natural extracted shape (475 hp/640 Nm), or even a 3.6L V6 in Supercharged (455 hp/495 Nm) or after (320 HP/352 Nm) claimed. Do you want a Twin-Turbo engine with a more ‘manageable’ 3.0L capacity? 550 hp, 677 Nm, can be discussed. But if you go for something so unusual, why not just ‘go out’ all the way?
The Bufori CS8 will be completely unveiled next week, together with its price (a basic Porsche 911 Carrera is nowadays priced from RM1.43 million), and we will be back with a full gallery and more details. For now, view the photos below and compare them with the Quirkier original CS prototype.
Buforis is not for everyone, but it can be something interesting for someone who already has everything.
