Amazon’s Prime Video is prepared to change how fans view NBA games. On September 30, 2025, the company announced new functions that integrate sports betting, artificial intelligence and adaptable viewing options. These upgrades arrive just in time for the start of the 11-year-old NBA deal from Prime Video, which starts 24 October with a seasonal Doublehead with Celtics Knicks and Lakers-Timberwolves.
Integration bet with Fanduel
Prime Video now connects directly to Fanduel accounts. Once coupled, users see their active NBA bets displayed on the screen during live games. Real-time updates follow progress and results, but fans cannot post bets via the Prime video platform itself.
A separate function for opportunity display shows rotating gambling lines, spreads, totals and prop betting. Viewers can switch this option on or off via the mobile app. Amazon emphasized that integration requires account coupling, ensuring that gambling information does not appear universally for all users.
Custom viewing tools
The multiview option of Prime Video provides subscribers to how they view games. Fans with NBA League Pass can stream multiple matchups at the same time, so that a primary game is placed in a large window while they guard others in smaller frames. Unlike older multiscreen systems, users can freely configure their lay -outs.
AI-driven highlights
Artificial intelligence now plays a central role in the experience. The most important moments are automatically identifies and emphasizes important plays, including Dunks, three-Pointers and turning points. In the meantime, Rapid Recap generates a summary of two minutes before late arrivals, so that viewers quickly overtake before they participate in live action.
Technical specifications and statistics
All NBA broadcasts on Prime Video stream in 1080p HDR with 5.1 Surround Sound. The AWS-driven technology of the platform is intended to deliver ultra-run latency, so that streams are tailored to cable and broadcast timing.
Fans also have access to real-time statistics without leaving the game screen. Overlays Display Box Scores and Advanced Analytics, building on the earlier work of Amazon with NFL Next-Gen-Statistics.
