Well that could have been better.
The Rays had won their first series in more than a month and were winners of two consecutive games and were four from their 3rd consecutive victory when Cal Raleigh suddenly remembered that he was an MVP candidate and continued to dump the Rays Playoff chances in the course of the three GameSeries.
Now the rays travel to Sacramento to adopt the athletics that have lost three consecutive games. The Rays record has fallen to 57-62 and they are now 5.5 games back in the Wild Card Chase.
In the meantime, athletics are 53-67, which is the 2nd worst record in the American League. However, they probably have two of the precursors for the Rookie of the Year Award with Nick Kurtz the unanimous winner. The 22-year-old first Honkman made his main class debut in April after only 151 record performances in the Minor Leagues after his selection on the 4th General in the design of 2024. Kurtz arrives on Monday with .305/.387/.628 with 23 HR and has registered a 174 WRC+ more than 329 PA.
Other players to pay attention to the athletics schedule, who contain four players this season with at least 20 hours: Brent Rooier (24 hr | 131 WRC+ | 2.5 fwar), Shea Langelier (23 hr | 129 WRC+ | 3.3 Fwar), and Tyler Sudarstrom (21 hr | 118).
The pitching has prevented athletics from being a .500 team because their attack, how good it is, was unable to wear the team. Luis Severino, their tent free agent signing, is solid, but no bait. The team no longer has Mason Miller because he was treated with JP Sears at the Handelsdeadline, so now it is a question who will take the rubber for every situation.
