Tennessee Titans @ Atlanta Falcons

Titans WR Elic AyomanorThe use suggests a role in the regular season: Ayomanor was set in motion at a rapid pace for his second consecutive preseason, something that the other broad Titans recipients do not often do.
The Titans have completely reworked their broad reciprocal room from last season, because Calvin Ridley was the only recurring player near the top of the depth card. The Titans added Veterans Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson during the preparation of Chimere Diker and Elic Ayomanor in the fourth round of the design.
In the first match of the preseason, Jefferson was the X receiver and Ridley was the Z, while Lockett I the Slot played in Three Receiver Sets. Ayomanor was the back -up Z and took two snaps from Ridley, while he played both Snaps in 13 employees. Dike was the back -up slot and took a Snap from Lockett. The Titans decided to rest both Ridley and Lockett for this game.
It is not surprising that Ayomanor started as the Z receiver, while Dike became a member of the final receiver. The Titans had broad recipients on 254 plays last season, which was the eighth lowest among teams. Ridley had a movement speed of 13%, which was clearly the highest among the best broad recipients of the Titans. Ayomanor moved six times last week, while the rest of the broad recipients on the Roster combined for five movements. Only one of the movements of Ayomanor was on the field with Ward. This week Ayomanor was on the move on five of his 10 plays with the starters. It would not be surprising if Ayomanor plays a package of plays every week where it is useful to have a broad receiver moving.
Cam Ward left the game after three discs, but all three broad recipients who started this game continued to play. Jefferson and Ayomanor were taken out before the two -minute drill drive, while Dikke continued to play. Last week, when Ward stopped playing, the day of Jefferson was also ready. The fact that Jefferson played at a time when there were no projected starters on the field suggests that his runway might not be safe. Jefferson’s Banking would probably mean that Ridley would go back to the X receiver place, which he played in 2023 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Since Dike explicitly played with three recipients in the slot in sets, it would be Ayomanor who would take a starting point.
Darnell MoeneyTemporary replacement: Casey Washington is a clear top-five broad recipient on the depth card after having been this game.
Washington was a Falcons Sixth-Round-Pick in 2024 and only played nine attacking snaps as Rookie in the fourth quarter of Blowout losses. He is recently a peak in the training camp and head coach Raheem Morris that suggested Washington will replace Moeney in the starting line -up if Moeney misses time in the regular season. Moeney has to deal with a shoulder injury But would not have played even if he was healthy.
Washington started the first game for the preseason, while the top four broad recipients on the depth card had the night free. In this game, Washington was added to the long list of players with a safe selection that did not play. Washington would be a sneaky pick-up in deep competitions for anyone who may need a broad recipient in week 1. The Falcons play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Moeney received nine receptions for 105 Yards and two touchdowns in the first match against Tampa Bay in addition to four receptions for 86 Yards and a touchdown in the second.
Various notes
- Titans who walk back Tyjae Spears, suffered one High ankle During the first week of the preseason and is expected to miss a few weeks.
- Julius Chestnut started running back for the Titans, while the sixth Round Rookie Kalel Mullings mixed during the third game of the first ride. While Chestnut still has a lead for the third running place, Mullings has brought the competition closer together compared to the first week of the preseason.
- The Titans rested a few players after they started them during the first week of the preseason, including the decline of Tony Pollard and wide recipients Calvin Ridley and Tyler Lockett.
- Titans Tight End Chig Okonkwo played all 15 snaps with the starters last week. He played seven of the eight in the first quarter this week. When the second quarter began, his day was done before everyone else attacks.
- Tight end Josh Whyle played 346 attacking Snaps for the Titans last season, but stays fourth on the depth card after two pre -season games. He will only make the schedule of 53 men if the Titans choose to retain four tight ends.
- The Falcons, Who Generally Let More Players Rest In The Preseason Than Any Other Team, Rested Quarterbacks Michael Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins, Running Backs Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, Wide Receivers Drake London, Darnell Moeney, Ray-Ray McCloud III, Khadarel Hodge and Casey Washington, and Tight Ends Kyle Pitto, Charlie.
- Carlos Washington Jr. has to do with a hamstring injury, which is expected to keep him out for some time. He is expected to be the third course of the team this season. He also missed the first game of the preseason.
- Broad recipient Jamal Agnew has to do with one unknown injuryWhat cost him the first two pre -season matches. The Depth card unofficial Specify him as a second string wide receiver and a first string kick-returer and point-returer. He probably seems to make the schedule despite the injury due to special teams.
- David Sills V only played on the first six plays and then his night was ready. He also only played in the first quarter last season. This probably means that he will make the schedule, and Atlanta will retain seven broad recipients. That, or the team just wants to give only younger players playing time during the preseason.
- The Falcons signed DJ Chark on July 25, coinciding with the news that Moeney would miss the time. The Falcons had six players who miss this game or because of their place on the depth card or injury. He was also not one of the four broad recipients on the first ride. This suggests that he is at best the 11th on the depth card, making it very unlikely that he makes the schedule of 53 people.

Table notes
- Snaps include plays that are mentioned back because of penalties, including keeping offensive or defensive pass -interference. The other three statistics have removed these plays.
- Goals can differ from official NFL sources. The most likely discrepancy would come from a clear shot pass, whereby the NFL can give the target to the nearest recipient, while this data does not.
- Carries are only on designed plays. Quarterback Scrambles do not count for the total number of Carry’s in the game.
