This message should remind you a lot of last year’s post, because everything still applies, except that things were demonstrably a little worse.
This was such a strange season for the Dodgers. They added the best baseball player to play ever, treated a multitude of injuries to important players, and still ended with the best record in baseball – that was also them worst Record since 2018.
Well, the fourth best record year year. Almost identical to 2018.
Last year the question was about the rotation and Freddie Freeman. This year the question is about the bullpen and Will Smith. The last update about Smith did not sound like he would make the NLWCS selection, so he will be omitted, but hopefully the Dodgers will continue and just like Freddie he can be ready for the NLDs.
What about the rest? Let’s speculate.

Here is a prediction about how the schedule of the Dodgers could search for the three game NLWCs.

The position players are in fact set with perhaps the only battle between HYEENONG KIM And Michael Conforto/Alex call for the last place on the Roster. This assumes that Max Muncy and Tommy Edman are ready to go for the series in terms of health, although that is anything but a guarantee. If one of the two cannot go, the debate will be a dispute point if Kim is the following.
I have no problem with this coordination, because since his injury Kim has not been the same and had not really been given the playing time to show something. Thus he would be a defensive replacement and pinch runner, both of which may be covered to a certain extent by Rojas and call. Dave Roberts has Literally said He does not see him as a suitable for a playoff selection, so that seems to make it clear.

That makes him a rather astonishing decision.
Anyway, that opens a chance for Ben Casparis, and I think the last place is probably between him and Kim is wearing a pinch runner specialist. They probably have the feeling that they can use all the penhulp they can get so that it enters here.
The existence of Ohtani enables them to need only two starters, so they get 11 “Relievers”, which should be enough to adjust the contents of their heart, although it is hopefully relatively easy.
When it comes to scott and tin, even if you think they should be omitted, there are no feasible candidates to replace them with small. Not that it was realistic that they were gone anyway. Just be happy that Kirby Yates won’t be there.
The real battle here is probably for the next round, because they will probably add Clayton Kershaw Back to the grid.

That is how I think it should look like, but the other main option here is clearly Michael Conforto that starts against a rightty and alex call starting against a leffty. But back in their last meaningful match against both hand dishes, Edman sat in the line -up both times. Is he now healthy enough to play center? It’s a question.
I also do space for Enrique here to start after his strong finish of the year. If Enrique does not start, instead it is Conforto or Rojas against righties and calls or Rojas against the left. It is also possible that MunCy is not 100% and is against the left in favor of Enrique, who would also move a call or Rojas to the Line -up.
Rortvedt is encouraged here because he takes play time from Dalton late in the year, but Dalton became hot and may be with potential starts.

But to be honest, it is unlikely that this schedule will shuffle to the margins. What matters is whether their stars are big again this year, such as last year, whether the starters can replicate their runs in the late season and whether the pen can use the small sample size to prove itself again in the late season.
