Looking at this Newcastle team against Liverpool.

The NUFC players who want to build on the encouraging performance on Aston Villa on the opening day on the opening day.

The only disappointment in that game was that United did not change their dominance to goals and a victory.

So what can we expect that the Newcastle team will be against Liverpool?

During his press conference on Friday, Eddie Howe gave us some information about who and not available.

No new injuries reported after that opening match of Aston Villa.

While Eddie Howe also revealed that Joe Willock was in the training again, earlier than expected after the earlier injury, returned in the preseason.

Then it is now also set to be available for selection, the newest new signature Jacob Ramsey.

Which means that only one player will absolutely not be involved in the Newcastle United Matchday Squad, Alexander Isak still not back in group training.

If I consider everything, this is how I see the Newcastle team against Liverpool on Monday evening:

Nick Pepe, De Trippier Kieran, Fabian Schar and Burn, Livimeno Tino, Sandro Tonali, Sandro Tonali, Sando Tonali, Jeelton, Jelton, Harvey Barnes, Anny Gordon, Anony Grosion.

No prizes to point out that this is the same eleven that started against Aston Villa.

I will be really surprised if Eddie Howe changes something.

The team had a great form last weekend and with Villa able not to force Nick Pope into a single serious Save, Eddie Howe certainly got up to keep the same keeper and back four. That would mean that Tino Livramento stays on the left, where he did not give Mo Salah a pinch at Wembley in March, while at the same time he rose the field to deliver the cross that led to the winning goal.

Then you pick yourself in the midfield trio that you would expect.

Although Anthony Gordon in the absence of Isak and with no new signing sessions in the middle of the plant, will again be the false nine.

He did well at that role against Villa, Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes who completed a front three who showed a good movement. With both Elanga and Gordon also have to burn pace.

The only thing that was missing in Villa Park was a clinical finish, in particular Gordon and Elanga who wasted great opportunities, because United had a 16 V 3 advantage compared to Villa when it came to shots in the game.

The will of Ramsey and Thiaw will undoubtedly get a lot of competitions as the season progresses, but in the meantime it is great to see a much stronger bank develop, in every area, except for the obvious, because United still comes in one or two strikers and/or to bring Alexander Isak into the matchday -squadon again.
