Winners and losers

Winners:

Daniel Jones Has won the starting Quarterback role in Indy. Although he remains a fringe superflex option, given his likely low passing figures and low job security, there is some advantage here. Jones had a QB7 -fantasia finish in 2022, recruiting on the back of 700 hurrying and a number of respectable death. But the real winners here are the Colts recipients, who have more opportunities for fantasy success thanks to the increase in the volume that they should all receive. Likewise, Jonathan Taylor benefits from the decrease in the target rule and the increased check-out substances that he should get from Jones compared to the alternatives. Conversely, Anthony Richardson is the most obvious loser and is the continuation of most competitions that are not a deeper dynasty setups.

Brian Robinson appears on the way to an exchange, while Austin Eekeler and Jeremy McNichols only weigh back. That opens a chance for Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Chris Rodriguez. I think JCM will probably win this role within a few weeks, but he is still not too exciting for fantasy. Remember that I rank Robinson as the RB30 before this happened and Croskey-Merritt has a less safe role and demonstrably less talent. He is a big deep competition and dynasty adds, since it may be available remotely, but I would not prepare it for the double digit rounds of most competitions.

Braelon Allen‘s role as a change of pace back, which is the primary backup for both Leadloper Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis, the third back, was confirmed. Although all needs a room injury to rise in RB2 territory, it can be startable in the earlier weeks, seen how much work he gets with the starters during the preseason.

Rico Downle Remains the third rear of Carolina, which means that he is a great bank stock that has the advantage of being an RB2 when Hubbard is going down, while he can also be startable for a few more so weeks in PPR competitions. Another valuable back -up is DJ Giddens, who seems to be the backup of the clear covers. The Indy -Starter has long been valuable for fantasy, making the Rookie a great late round bank stock in case JT goes down. And while we are on the subject, Will Shipley seems to be the backup of the Eagles that runs back. Unlike the other two, however, it is doubtful that he will be back when Saquon Barkley goes down, with AJ Dillon also in the city.

Losers:

Rhamondre Stevenson Was wounded and we expected to see Treveyon Henderson on early downs. Instead, he was limited to passing downs, where Antonio Gibson got the early work. Henderson could still win the role of every down later in the season, but this is not the use you want from a man who is set up in the first half dozen rounds. He is a difficult avoid for me, especially in half-PPR competitions.

Joe Mixon‘s injury drags on, which means that it increasingly looks that he will be the starter in the week one. We have seen these kinds of things drag in an absence of full season, while we have suddenly seen players appear again and return to their normal role. The signing of Nick Chubb suggests the first, but I finally avoid both, especially in view of a role with a low efficiency, the third is probably the third back at Dare Ogunbowale.

-The Steelers Backfield remains a total mess. Kaleb Johnson Will be the big banger, but Jaylen Warren will probably get the most between the 1920s early in the year. In the meantime, Kenny Gainwell will be the third down and two minutes ago. It is difficult to see that one of the three is a top 25 back without an injury. Unlike many players who are an injury, the other would even be just a low-end RB2 with an injury to Warren or Johnson. And you have to prepare them in the middle rounds! I all avoid Pittsburgh’s backs.

-The Jaguars Backfield also remains a split in between Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby. Etienne is likely to continue to receive work, while Bigsby will be used more on early downs and around the goal line. Neither has fantasy value without an injury to the other and even then there is a good chance that Bhaysshul Tuten would become involved in that situation to maintain a form of committee.

Tyler Shegh Remains behind Spencer Rattler in the Quarterback competition of the Saints. Kellen Moore insists that this is not a signal on his week one starter, but it is not what you want to see if you trusted in superflex competitions as a starter. I really believe that the Rookie will eventually win the role, but this damages its value badly. In the meantime, starting Rattler is probably a little better for fantasy for the recipients of the saints, although it is much of a big one.
