Pre-season Week 1 WR/TE WINNERS AND LEADERS

Pre-season Week 1 WR/TE WINNERS AND LEADERS

9 minutes, 18 seconds Read

If you do not pay attention to the pre-season football, you miss essential information that you could win your competition. So here are my largest receiver-related collection restaurants from the first week of pre-season competitions.

Winners of broad recipient and losers

Winners:

Tetairoa McMillan Is the Clear WR1 in Carolina, probably supported by Xavier Legette in 2WR sets and Adam Thielen in the lock. Jalen Coker is still hanging around and can eventually take over from Thielen, but this is very much the McMillan team. This is great from a dynasty perspective and he has been my second ranked dynasty smokie since April, but I still don’t know for sure whether the Panthers can support a top fantasy receiver without the excessive volume that we saw a few years ago. I think that McMillan is still a bit overvalued in view of his lack of real benefit in what a low volume-passing attack should remain.

Marvin Mims Seems to be the clear Broncos WR2, while Devaughn many and Troy Franklin are fighting out for the final place and Pat Bryant is a backup at this stage. This has been threatened for some time and is why I consistently arranged Mims this season as a top 60 wide receiver.

Travis Hunter’s Use was exactly what we expected. He will in the first place be a final recipient who plays in 3WR sets, but can grow into 12 personnel groups. The final role in the attack of Liam Coen is very valuable (see last season of Chris Godwin’s WR2 Per-Game Finish), so there is a lot of fantasy-on his head for the two-way edges.

-This is not a new news, but the first game for the season has confirmed what we already knew. D’Ote Thornton Is a starting receiver for the Raiders, while Jack Bechh is the WR4 at best. However, this can easily change, because Bech simply has to pass Tre Tucker and there is still enough time to make that happen. In the meantime, Thornton is an obvious Round Redraft -target, but it is unlikely that the Raiders’ WR2 has a lot of value with Brock Bowers and Ashton Jeanty in the city. For me he is more of an intriguing dynasty supply.

-The Bills Wide Receiver Room looks like it will be exactly as we had expected to enter the preseason. Khalil Shakir will be the final recipient after his excessive contract extension while Keon Coleman will be accompanied by a deep threat of Joshua Palmer on the outside. Coleman still has the most potential to change in the alpha receiver in this violation and his use for the season has only confirmed this. He is one of my favorite sleepers, in line for a big second -year boost.

-It seems that there will be mixed fortunes for the Rookie recipients of the Texans. Second rounder Jayden Higgins Will become a member Nico Collins On the outside, while it seems that Christian Kirk is noel in the battle for the lock for the third Rounder Jaylin. That can still change in the coming weeks, but anyway, Noel is more of a dynasty supply and higgins needs a collins injury if he will fruit for fantasy in the near future. Although we have successfully seen teams that have two fantasy-relevant broad recipients, this Texan attack does not resemble the Bengal, Eagles, Vikings or Dolphins, where the third receiver is hardly involved. That is why I am not overly interested in both Rookie for Redraft, but both are interesting Dynasty stocks.

Calvin Austin Is the Clear Steelers WR2, but Roman Wilson looks like he won the WR3 lane over Robert Woods and Company. The role of Wilson is not special from isolated, but with Austin not exactly a superstar, it is just a short jump to the number two position for the former day 2 -pick that is essentially red Rookie campaign shirt.

-The jets -situation is just as cloudy, but one thing seems clear, Josh Reynolds Is the WR2, as weed for weeks. However, the WR3 spot seems to be an open competition between Tyler Johnson, all Lazard and Arian Smith. It is likely that the third place is initially a kind of committee, but the only recipient who really interests me among the three is the Rookie Smith, and even then, only in the dynasty or the best ball. He should go beyond Reynolds to become fantasy relevant this year.

Isaac Tesla Looked fantastic in the first game of the preseason, but he is still clearly behind Tim Patrick and possibly Kalif Raymond. However, the Rookie is a development perspective, and someone I aim in the dynasty before 2026 and then, especially when Jameson Williams leaves Detroit.

Losers:

Tre Harris This year has been a favorite pick-up for Dynasty for me, but the signing of Keenan Allen Tanks is redraft value this year. With Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston tore as starters, Harris would need an all -injury (or a surprise change in roll) to pay for Redraft. In the meantime, Johnston is chronically undervalued and is a solid late round pick -up.

Kyle Williams Is a popular late round stock, but I would not consider him this year. Stefon Diggs and Demario Douglas are clear starters for the patriots, while Kendrick Bourne, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins and Williams fight it all for the third receiver spot. And Williams is clearly behind Bourne and Boutte in that fight. Although that can change when we enter the season, how much do you really want the WR3 of the Patriots? Williams is at best a dynasty supply that (although probably not) could be in the Pats’ WR1 in the long term.

-Titans day 3 Rookies Chimara -heroes And Elic Ayomanor Still clearly behind Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson in the battle for starting roles in Tennessee. Although this could be a veteran privilege, it would have been nice to see a little more use for the rookies between the starters. Ayomanor is the more chance of the two to win a starting role, since he just has to beat Jefferson, while Dike is more a final recipient and Lockett has to pass by. I think Dijk has more benefit from the two in the long term, but I avoid both for Redraft.

Luther -Tast Played well behind Beren final receiver Olamide Zaccheeaus and appears at some distance from a runway. Burden has missed a lot of the preseason and I would expect that he will bridge the gap at some point, but it makes it very difficult to justify the drafting of the Rookie in Redraft, even if his price falls under his blown mid-round costs.

-It Felton Not only behind Jalen Nailor, but also Lucky Jackson in the fight to be JJ McCarthy’s WR3. Although this role has been traditionally not very valuable, the approaching suspension of Jordan Addison means that the player who wins this job can be usable at least a few weeks. I don’t give Felton completely, especially in the dynasty, but if we don’t see the movement above Jackson in next week’s game, I don’t touch him for Redraft.

Jalen Tolbert Was the Cowboys WR2 last season, making it a solid distance from the distance statement at the beginning of last season. The arrival of George Pickens had already taken some serious shine of his fantasy perspectives, but it now seems that they are officially dead, with Kavontae Turpin being equipped for the first pre-season game while Tolbert played. It is possible that this will show Turpin’s role of special teams, but I think that this will rather reflect the whisper of Turpin that attacking snaps remove from Tolbert. This is a situation to fully avoid.

-The cardinals are on their way to a WR2/3 committee, where Zay Jones will probably participate Michael Wilson And Greg Dortch When splitting wide recipient Snaps behind Marvin Harrison Jr. With Trey McBride and James Conner also involved in the low volume-passing games, it seems that none of the non-MHJ recipients will be fantasy-relevant.

Tight final winners and losers

Winners:

Tyler Warren Is the clear down -down -end for the Colts and the starter will be from week one. How much value this has depends somewhat on the winner of the very open quarterback competition, but regardless of I think Warren is a cheap option that has some advantage. However, I would also like to propose to draw up a second tight final option, because the bust potential with Warren is real.

TJ Hockenson Suffered from a decrease of around 15% in routes that ran last year, which influenced his imagination value frustratingly. But his use for the season suggests a possible rebound with Johnny Mundt now in Jacksonville. His design costs make him a little bargain, because he is a top five of a tight end for me.

Josh Whyle’s Continue the depth card suggests that Chig Okonkwo can continue late seasonal growth of the late season until this season last year. With Gunnar Helm the rather not threatening Te2, the role of Okonkwo seems to be finally locked up as the Clear Cut Starter. This has rarely meant a lot for fantasy, but Rookie Quarterbacks rely more on their tight ends more than veterans and that can finally mean a coming party for Chig. Better late than never I think. He is a viable Late Round -Redraft pick -Up.

Losers:

-Van Gram Probably seems to collapse to Sean Payton’s love for Adam Trautman. The former saint seems to be probably stealing early from a fantasy-relevant tight end, in which Enggram only plays 70% of the starters snows in the pre-season week 1. Admittedly, most of these missed snaps were playing, but it is still a bad sign and further reason to prevent and gram.

Elia Arroyo He was expected to be the most important beneficiary of the Noah Fant -Release, but it seems that AJ Barner might be much heavier than we would like. Barner, a fourth round of 2024, is an accomplished blocker who is a solid receiver when it is called. This seems to change into an ugly commission situation instead of the every down tight end role that we had hoped that Arroyo would shift. The Rookie is still a large dynasty supply, but until he improves his blocking, it is unlikely that he is fantasy relevant.

Dalton Kincaid And Dawson Knox Stay in an uncomfortably tight end committee without signs of that change. Until Kincaid appears when the clear tight end, he remains difficult to trust for fantasy.

-The chargers Tight end space is a mess. I avoid them all because it is completely unclear who the TE1 is. At this stage I anticipate a committee while I am open in the dynasty Orande GadsdenWho has the long -term potential to become a fantasy starter.
