Ahmedabad, January 9, 2026: Nila Spaces today announced its upcoming residential project PRANA has been awarded the Pre-certified WELL Residence designation by the International WELL Construction Institute (IWBI)the global authority for driving market transformation through healthy buildings, organizations and communities.

This appointment marks an important milestone in PRANA’s journey towards this goal WELL Residence Certificationrecognizing the project’s commitment to embedding health and wellbeing at the core of its design and planning philosophy.

The Precertified WELL Residence designation indicates that the project has successfully completed the Preliminary Design Review and has made substantial progress in design documentation under IWBIs WELL for residential program– an evidence-based, third-party verified framework designed to transform the way homes are designed, built and maintained to support the health and wellbeing of residents. Pre-certification is an optional but important step that allows projects to formally demonstrate compliance with global healthy building standards early in the development process.

Informed by the scientifically based principles of the WELL building standard (WELL)the WELL for Residential program includes more than 100 health strategies designed to support the health and well-being of residents.

The development of the WELL for Residential program was based on two years of industry input, market insight and expert recommendations from IWBI’s WELL for Residential Advisory, a working group of more than 100 globally renowned subject matter experts, including builders and developers, architects and engineers, public health and building scientists, government officials, academics and real estate professionals.

The WELL Residence designation is awarded to a project upon completion of third-party assessment and verification of selected strategies. Of the more than 200 points available, a project must verify at least 40 points to achieve WELL Residence status.
