Popular actor Loni Anderson from the 80s of the WKRP of the HIT -TV series in Cincinnati ‘died

Loni Anderson, who played a wrestling radio station who played an empowered receptionist on the hit -TV comedy ‘WKRP in Cincinnati’, died on Sunday, just a few days before her 80th birthday.

Anderson died in a hospital in Los Angeles after a “long -term” disease, said her old publicist, Cheryl J. Kagan.

“We are deeply sad to announce the death of Our Lady, Mother and Grandmother,” said Anderson’s family in a statement.

“WKRP in Cincinnati” was broadcast from 1978-1982 and was agreed in a lagging radio station in Ohio to reinvent itself with rock music. The cast included Gary Sandy, Tim Reid, Howard Hesseman, Frank Bonner and Jan Smithers, alongside Anderson such as the sexy and smart Jennifer Marlowe.

As a receptionist from the station, De Blonde and Jennifer used her sex appeal with a high heels to generate unwanted things, calling her boss, Mr Carlson. Her efficiency often kept the station in the light of the incompetence of others.

The role earned her two Emmy Award and three Golden Globe nominations.

Anderson played on the big screen next to Burt Reynolds in the comedy “Stroker Ace” from 1983 and the two got married later and became tabloid lair work before he divorced in 1994.

Anderson is survived by her husband Bob Flick, daughter Deidra and son in Law Charlie Hoffman, son Quinton Anderson Reynolds, grandchildren McKenzie and Megan Hoffman, stepson Adam Flick and wife Helene, Stiefkleinkinderen Felix and Maximilian.
