On August 15, Modi had said that a Task Force for reforms of the next generation would be formed. It would evaluate all current laws, rules and procedures with regard to economic activities. The Taskforce would work within a fixed timeline to reduce the compliance costs for startups, MSMEs and entrepreneurs, to offer freedom of fear of random legal actions and ensure that laws are streamlined for the convenience of doing business.
These reforms are aimed at creating a supporting ecosystem for innovation, entrepreneurship and economic growth, he said.
