It’s been a busy month in the East – here are just some of the events we’ve been involved with.
Ping Pong Social Event – The Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City
On Sunday 26 October, the Howard Center in Welwyn Garden City (Hertfordshire) played host to the second Ping Pong Social event held in the shopping center’s Ping Pong Parlour. Many thanks to Anthony Ward from the SHAW Table Tennis League for organizing the event, which attracted the attention of a number of young people participating.
Essex Boys & Girls Club TTE Activator Good Luck
On Wednesday 12 November, Table Tennis England and Essex Boys & Girls Club came together at Frenford Clubs to host a TTE Activator club, aimed at supporting clubs and young leaders to make the sport more accessible in clubs across Essex.
Junior Referee Award – Kempston Academy
Table Tennis England, Be Active and Kempston Academy have once again worked together to facilitate a Junior Umpires Award in support of the School Games in Bedfordshire. Many thanks to Esteban Bernasconi from the Bedford Table Tennis Club for helping to support the training.
