In Los Angeles it is another day of confrontations between law enforcement officials and those who protest against the arrest of people in the US without legal status.
Police and protesters faced each other for a third day. There were various skirmishes with tear gas, pepper spray, // plastic bullets // and a few physical encounters.
Members of the California National Guard arrived in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning after they were activated by President Trump.
Federal immigration raids in Los Angeles and last week led to protests in the city and beyond.
