A father who was voted giving his son’s baseball to an angry Phillies fan, explained why he handed over the appreciated property that an early birthday gift should be.

“I almost just wanted her to leave,” Drew Feltwell told NBC10 Philadelphia On Saturday.

Feltwell was one of the six excited fans who sprinted in the direction of a home runbal that hit Phillies Outfielder Harrison Bader during Friday evening’s matchup against the Marlins in Loompot Park in Miami.

He insisted that he was the first and only person who took the ball out of the seats in the left field, but a feminine, gray-haired Phillies fan refused to be a good sport.
