PGTI Second phase to see new events, Tie -Ups and locations

The second half of the professional wave tour of the India schedule in India will be spread over 15 events with RS 17 Crore in prize money and three more feeder tournaments.

This will take the total prize money fund for the year to RS 33 Crore and Pgtio President Kapil DEV said that 2026 would be even bigger and better.

And according to PGTI chef Executive Amandep Johl on the sidelines of Saturday’s launch, there is also a PGTI competition in the pipeline. “We’ve been thinking about it for a while,” he told the Hindustan Times.

The Tour will resume with the RS 1 Crore Coal India Open in Ahmedabad’s Kensville Golf and Country Club from 5 to 8 August.

In addition to the schedule, the PGTI also said “important new collaborations” and strengthened existing partnerships promises to accelerate the growth of golf throughout the country.

Event Milpaal

Firstly, Indianoil will observe the 25th year of his Servo Masters, making it the longest -running event on the PGTIs calendar, and diary giant Amul comes on board as a tour partner.

The RS 1 Crore Trident is also open on the schedule, supported by Punjab’s Trident Group, a diversified conglomerate with companies in textiles, paper, chemicals, energy and more, from 11 to 14 November in the Chandigarh Golf Club.

Two locations have been added to the second half of the season, the Clover Greens Resort and Golf Club in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and the Kolar’s Zion Hills Golf County, which recently organized a lady tour event. Both locations are near Bangalore.

While Clover Greenswill organizes the RS 1 Crore PGTI Players Championship from 19 to 22 August, Zion HillS Is the location of the inaugural RS 1 Crore Kolar Open, from 26 to 29 August.

Also inked for this phase are three feeder RS 20 Lakh Nexgen events in Patna, Luckknow and Bhubaneswar, another first0 time location.
