Action will resume after a three-month summer vacation on the men’s professional golf tour with the Coal India Open on the Kensville course of Ahmedabad on Tuesday.

A field of 126 will dispute the new RS 1 Crore event that is the first of 15 tournaments that will go through until the end of December, the PGTI said.

But before that, a word about the beautiful five test competitions that culminated on Monday in the Ovaal in London with a dramatic series-levers six-run victory for Shubman Gill’s Indians.

In about 36-year years of coverage and writing about the sport, I have not seen an India team with such determination, grit and self-confidence.

Time and again the visiting team picked up the challenges that they were thrown by a five English outfit and distributed a suitable answer every time.

The last 2-2 result after 25 days of hard cricket was the only suitable result for two teams that were not willing to admit an inch to the other. It was drama all the way.

In the past two months, India found heroes up and down, but two people stood out, gill with the bat and Mohammad Siraj with the ball.

Remarkable

The skipper used a large number of records and more importantly led from the front, while Siraj made a huge workload to light to lead the attack and get away as the highest wicket task on both sides.

It was appropriate the granite hyderabad fast bowler who sealed one of the best overseas victories of India on Monday, and as his captain later said: “We never gave up”.

It is a philosophy that is never easy to play, but my word, Gill and his men made India proud today.

Determination and focus is which order of merit leader Yuvraj Sandhu and 125 fellow professionals also hope to find about the nest four days in the Kensville Golf & Country Club.

Event sponsor Coal India Limited is the world’s largest coal producer and comes on board for the first time as a sponsor of event title on the PGTI.

In addition to Sandhu, the field includes Prakash Chouhan, Manu Gandas and Udayan Mane, to name just a few.

About the producer of the professor at the professional school Srik Srik N. Kingriots and Rossines, Hossine v Bangladesh, Assaving Valley Rai’s size.
