Each week of the NFL season brings new market signals, and assets are one of the sharpest tools for cutting through the noise. PFF’s updated ratings don’t just tell you who’s playing well; they also help explain where perception and reality can drift apart.
In this article we highlight the three teams that have gained the most ground following last week’s results. We’ll also analyze schedule strength over the next four weeks, identifying the softest and toughest upcoming slates – an important lens for spotting overreactions in lines, totals and futures. The aim is to give gamblers a foresighted edge: who is moving forward, who is facing resistance and where opportunities may still lie.

Top 3 risers
Cincinnati Bengals +3.5
The return of Joe Burrow gives the Bengals a big bump in power ratings, but that increase comes against a backdrop of decline: Cincinnati’s team rating had already fallen after four straight losses.
Dallas Cowboys +1.1
For the second week in a row, the Cowboys are the second most improved team in our power ratings. After falling behind early, their comeback win over the Eagles provided another ratings boost as they headed into a Thanksgiving matchup with the Chiefs.
Los Angeles Rams +0.8
The Rams continue to roll, with the league’s highest-rated team in our power rankings getting another significant boost after a dominant performance against the Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football.
Toughest upcoming schedules
Cincinnati Bengals (average OPP PR of 3.5)
W13: BLT (5,8) | W14: BUF (4,6) | W15: BLT (5,8) | W16: MIA (-2.1)
Schedule Notes: The Bengals hit the road for the next two weeks before returning home for a second matchup with the Ravens in a three-week span. It’s a tough stretch, but they’ll get a much-needed boost under center with Joe Burrow back in the lineup.
Las Vegas Raiders (avg. OPP PR of 3.4)
W13: LAC (1.7) | W14: DEN (4) | W15: PHI (3,8) | W16: HST (4.1)
Schedule Notes: The Raiders head to Los Angeles this week and the Chargers have a bye. Three of the next four games are scheduled in Las Vegas, with a divisional matchup against Denver serving as the lone home stop in that stretch.
Pittsburgh Steelers (average PR of 3.4)
W13: BUF (4,6) | W14: BLT (5,8) | W15: MIA (-2.1) | W16: IT (5.2)
Schedule Notes: The hits keep coming for the Steelers as they enter the toughest four-game stretch of their season. Buffalo visits this week with a rest advantage after playing Thursday night, and the same will be true when Pittsburgh faces the Ravens and Lions, both of whom also play on Thursday before taking on the Steelers. Pittsburgh even loses a prep day for the Lions game, as the Steelers play the Dolphins the week before on Monday night.
Easiest upcoming schedules
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (avg. OPP PR of -4.8)
W13: ARZ (-3.4) | W14: NO (-9.1) | W15: ATL (-2.9) | W16: AUTO (-3.8)
Schedule Notes: The Buccaneers now get a three-game homestand after back-to-back road trips to Buffalo and Los Angeles. Their only road game in that stretch is against the Panthers, and even that comes with a halftime advantage after Tampa hosts the Falcons on Thursday night in Week 15.
San Francisco 49ers (average OPP PR of -4.3)
W13: CLV (-5.5) | W14: TAUW | W15: TEN (-9) | W16: IND (1.6)
Schedule Notes: A cross-country trip to Cleveland stands in the way of the 49ers and their bye week.
Miami Dolphins (average PR of -4.2)
W13: NO-9.1) | W14: NY-7.4) | W15: PIT (.8) | W16: CIN (-1.1)
Schedule Notes: The Dolphins get a week of rest before returning with a home game against New Orleans, followed by back-to-back road games against the Jets and Steelers.
