Last night, Jose Alvarado ran to be a neck and back injury while he represented Puerto Rico at the America. Alvarado was taken on a stretcher after an annoying fall while trying to fight for an attacking rebound.
During the game, Jose had 25 points and seven three of them, while he tried to lead Puerto Rico to a semi -final appearance before the injury.
This injury had shaken New Orleans Pelicans fans, because Alvarado was an essential member of this core. However, he made comments that suggest that it will be fine. Jose posted a message on his Instagram story and said: “appreciate love you. But your boy well. God got me (praying hands emoji)” “”

His message was just that there is nothing to worry about and he would be fine. This statement from Alvarado should illuminate Pelican fans, because it probably means that they will not be without his consistent spark of the bank for a longer period.
Last season in its 55 performances Average Alvarado Average Career Hogs across the Line with its average of 10.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists while also shooting just below 36% of three. Because the Front Office of Pelicans has their hearts this season at a play -off performance, that goal can be difficult to achieve without Alvarado leading the 2nd unit.
Fortunately, Joe Dumars has added depth this season
Although all signs suggest that Alvarado may not miss to start next season, Joe Dumars’ decision to add depth is to be a smart one this season. Although the trust in Rookie guard Jeremiah Fears may not be ideal, it is still a good option to have if Jose misses time.
In recent years, if someone would fall in low season, the pelicans would panic and try to try to find a replacement, but that is not the case this summer. The biggest goal of Dumars that came out of season this season was to add the depth of quality, and it looks like the right call.
The pelicans have far from a perfect schedule on their way to the 2025-26 season, but one thing they do have is depth. And with the injury history of this core, depth will be extremely valuable this season during the 82 game slate of New Orleans this season.
Or Alvarado De Tijd misses during the regular season or not, the Pelicans will still be good enough to compete for a play-off place in the West to start the 2025-26 campaign because of how deep they are. Additions such as fears, Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and Kevon Looney brought the pelicans to a great position with or without Jose.
