Sunday Night Football in week 5 of the NFL season 2025 has the New England Patriots against the Buffalo Bills in an AFC East Showdown. Buffalo comes in with a perfect 4-0 record, while New Englands is on a respectable 2-2.

Let’s dive into my patriots versus Bills forecasts.

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills Odds

Money Line: Patriots +330 / Bills -425
Spread: Patriots +8.5 (-115) / Bills -8.5 (-105)
Total: More than 49.5 (-115) / Under 49.5 (-105)

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills Best Bet #1: Bills -8.5 (-105)

Lofty spread in the NFL always seems to be dangerous when the bills did not cover favorites compared to the New Orleans Saints (they won 31-19). That said, -15.5 is very different from -8.5 and playing the worst team of the NFL in the opposite conference is very different from fighting a division rival. In the meantime, Patriots can be on a disappointment now that they feel a bit on the heels of an eruption victory over the Carolina Panthers. For that, however, New England only scored 16.7 point per match-not a song that can come close to keeping a powerful buffalo equipment. Only one of the four games of the Bills in 2025 was more competitive than a margin of nine points.

Josh Allen is the ruling NFL MVP and plays out again. Allen has already hurried 159 yards and three touchdowns to join 964 passing yards and seven scores. He and James Cook will be the two most dynamic offensive game makers on the field on Sunday evening. The visitors probably don’t have enough firepower to stay within the number.

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills Best Player Prop Bet: Rhamondre Stevenson recruit more than 32.5 hasten (-114)

New England has every reason to keep the ball on the ground in this game. Buffalo is number 1 in the entire NFL in passing the defense so far this season, but it is the second to pre-day in hasty defense-value 164.3 yards per game at 6.0 yards per Carry. Moreover, the best defense against the powerful attack of the accounts is just to keep them off the field for as long as possible. That means running the ball and the clock work.

Stevenson should be able to take advantage of this opportunity. The Oklahoma product shares carries with Treveyon Henderson in the backfield of the pats, but Stevenson has got a little more work and has been a bit more productive. He hurried to Henderson’s 25 31 times and is on average 4.0 yards per Carry to Henderson’s 3.7. Stevenson won 60 meters and scored a touchdown in his only outing against the bills during the 2024 season.
