2 Cove ST, Watsons Bay sold for $ 28.4 million after just a week on the market. It was last traded for $ 275K in 1976.
Custom tailor Patrick Johnson and his interior designer-wife Tamsin Johnson have just broken up their next renovation project for a stunning price.
It is a house in Harbourfront with five bedrooms in 2 Cove ST, Watsons Bay, which was last traded for $ 275k in 1976 then bought by Robin Lester, who lived there with her husband and children.
Robin, who is in the 80s, is shrinking.
The house was sold late on Saturday for $ 28.4 million via PPD director Alexander Phillips after just a week on the market.
Phillips refused to discuss the buyer, with his remark “nice attempt” when asked.
But other sources revealed that the Johnsons, known for their smart real estate purchases over the years, were set to “do work on it” and go in.

The Cove St Home has an incredible view of the harbor.
It is exactly on the waterfront.
The agent describes it as “flawless”.
Patrick Johnson, tailor -made tailor P.Johnson, and his talented woman Tamsin did well in 2020 when they bought Kendall Lodge in Darling Point for just over $ 10 million in the 1920s.
It was discounted from $ 12 million and Tamsin could undoubtedly see his potential with Eastern suburbs buyers.
Only three years later, after having done a tasteful fitout, potential buyers were quietly shown with the hope of $ 25 million.
Property records show that the Eastbourne RD Home is still in their name, but it is probably one of the big mentions this spring.

Not surprisingly considering the potential, Phillips had two buyers who fought after just a week on the market for Cove ST, with the first $ 25 million offer.
The Johnsons had not made the first offer, but they closed the deal to $ 28.4 million.
The house on two levels, described as a “once in the generation” offer, had an unobstructed view over the bay to the CBD.
Phillips described the building, which had five large bedrooms with four on one level and the head with an ensuite and dressing room, as “flawless”.
