The goals keep coming in this new year for American forward Patrick Agyemang.

Agyemang scored his second goal of 2026 and his eighth goal this season in the 1-1 EFL Championship draw against West Bromwich Albion. The US men’s national team forward opened the scoring at Pride Park before a 96th-minute equalizer from West Brom’s Chris Mepham split the win between the two clubs.

Agyemang gave host Rams the lead before half-time and took advantage of an error by Baggies goalkeeper Max Leary. Leary failed to claim a corner kick before first-half stoppage time, allowing Agyemang to pounce on the loose ball and advance to home plate.

Derby County looked to hold on to the crucial three points at home, but West Brom would strike at the death to earn one away point. Mepham headed home at the back post to make it 1–1, ending West Brom’s eleven-match losing streak in league play.

Agyemang now has eight goals and three assists in 27 appearances for the Rams since joining from Charlotte FC last summer.

Derby County then travel to Bristol City on January 30 to stay in the top six.
