Banana ball
They are the party animals and tailgaters on Riders Field this weekend – Friday 5 and Saturday 6 September!

This weekend in Frisco on the 5th and 6th, Riders Field will be taken over by a couple of party animals and tailgaters! For the first time ever, Banana Ball is here in Frisco and is played by one of the newest teams of the competitions The Texas Tailgaters while they take on one of the founders, the party animals.
From trick plays to scores based on some innings instead of all 9 and fans who are able to record outs, it is a show that you have never seen quite literally before.
The head of the party animals will be former first round pick of 2010 by the Texas Rangers and former UGA DB Jake Skole who leads the competition in Thuis Runs, RBIs, average and OPS. He stands in line in front of the triple crown and is quite a bit tough on the plate.
For the Texas Tailgaters it is the man with the Stache, Nick Lopez who has conquered the competition Stormender and .371 in the year reduced to join one of the lowest K % in the entire Banana Ball League. We must also mention that he is fresh from his first MLB Park -Tu -run when he sent one over the RF wall in Pittsburg last weekend.
If you’ve never seen Banana Ball, you’re certainly in for a treat this weekend, because you’ll see things that you hardly ever expect to see on a baseball court. From baby races and dance numbers to starting shoe plates and drum sessions for the field and it is really like nothing you have seen before, and nothing that you will find somewhere else in the world. Now, for everyone who is worried about the competition, let’s say it’s bright and it’s fantastic. From selections in the top 3 rounds of the MLB concept to all Americans to Team USA members, these guys can really do it all at some of the highest levels of baseball that you will experience.
It’s fun, it’s crazy, it’s imaginative, it’s innovative, it’s best because the Harlem Globetrotters took over the sports world just as much in the 1940s. However, these games have no explained winner, so you really don’t know what could happen. The way the bananas have changed the game is really different from everything we have ever seen. Whether you like them, they are here, and they seem to stay here as they become more and more popular every day and stay sold out, Semi -Pro parks, collegial parks, Minor League stadiums, MLB stadiums and are even accelerals and NFL stadiums full of 70,000+ raging fans.
Do not be surprised if you are in Frisco, either night and fall in love with this new style and a brand baseball, also for all your ranger fans who will be present, don’t be surprised when we see a familiar face or two from the Dugouts to play a small banana ball. This weekend was really set up to be one for the centuries in Frisco and I hope to see you there.
