Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior said during Thursday’s press conference that he is unsure whether he will get injured Ree James And Pedro Neto (both pats) will be available for the trip to Molineux.

“I don’t know yet. We trained today and that was a recovery day for the boys who played a very tough physical match on Tuesday. We will watch them tomorrow and then we will make a decision.” – Liam Rosenior on Reece James and Pedro Neto

However, Jamie Gittens (hamstring) was permanently eliminated on Saturday.

“Jamie, he looks a little taller. It’s really unfortunate for him. He’s got a hamstring tear. He’s got a hamstring tear.”

‘I can never say that [how long it’ll be]. It’s too early to tell.” – Liam Rosenior on Jamie Gittens

Cole Palmer And Estevao are both ready for 90 minutes, according to their manager (“yes!”), who was then asked if Palmer could string consecutive starts together.

“I think that’s still a very hypothetical question. What we do with not just Cole.” [but] all players. We have the very best medical team. We have the very best sports science team. We do a lot of tests. We want to make sure these players can play at the level they need to play at to help us win. So as far as Cole is concerned, there is no time frame where he will be perfect in a month, two months or three months. It’s just game-to-game. And that’s the way we worked with him. I think that’s the way we’re going to have to continue to work with him and some of our players.

“It’s not about just not being able to play against him in certain games. Like I said before, it’s day by day. It’s about making sure he feels good, that he can contribute to the team in a way he wants, and I’ll keep working on that. I’m sure soon he’ll be in a place where he can play every minute of every game, and I’ll be a very happy man.” – Liam Rosenior on whether Cole Palmer can play back-to-back games and last 90 minutes

In the meantime there was praise for it Trevo Chalobah. Not that you have to do much to earn critical acclaim from management’s response to The Fast Show’s “Brilliant” character.

“Trevoh has been one of our bright spots in terms of his performance, in terms of what he understands. What we want, not just on the pitch or tactically, in terms of the culture, in terms of what he brings to the group. He loves this club. He understands what it takes to win and he has made a fantastic impression on me and my staff so far.” – Liam Rosenior on Trevoh Chalobah
